The contract is deemed concluded when Makèn sends the order confirmation and/or shipping email, or when the product is shipped, depending on what is indicated in the purchase flow.

Makèn may refuse or cancel an order, for example in the event of suspected fraud, obvious errors in the information provided, product unavailability, or abnormal order quantities. In such cases, Makèn will inform the user and, if already collected, refund the amounts due.

In the event of an obvious error in the price or description, Makèn may cancel the order and propose the correct price. If the user does not accept, the order will be canceled and any amounts paid will be refunded.

If verification is not successful, the order may be cancelled, and any amounts charged will be refunded.
The refund includes the price of the product and, if due, standard delivery costs. The refund is issued within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal. Makèn may withhold the refund until the product is received or until proof of return shipment is provided, whichever occurs first.

If the customer chooses a carrier other than those proposed by Makèn, the risk may pass upon delivery to the carrier chosen by the customer.
7.5 Failed delivery and incorrect address
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of delivery details. In the event of failed delivery due to an incomplete or incorrect address, Makèn may charge any storage or re-delivery costs requested by the carrier.

8.2 Customizations and Made-to-Order Products

Makèn undertakes to respond within 5 business days and to propose a solution within a reasonable timeframe, depending on the complexity of the case.
Makèn favors a fast and cooperative resolution of disputes through direct assistance.
The European ODR platform for online dispute resolution has no longer been operational since July 20, 2025; therefore, outdated automatic references are avoided. Alternatively, the Consumer may consider alternative dispute resolution tools available in Italy (e.g., ADR bodies or mediation) and may contact the competent authorities or consumer protection associations.
These Terms are governed by Italian law.
Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the court where Makèn has its registered office, unless the user is a Consumer. In such case, mandatory consumer protection rules and jurisdiction provided by applicable law shall apply.
